Clifton

A grade-II listed Georgian maisonette in London’s Little Venice. A cavernous ground and lower ground floor flat redecorated and furnished for a couple to use as a chic pied-á-terre and luxury rental.

We wanted the proportions and beautiful architectural features of this property to remain the focal part of the design. Not only this but we looked to enhance  them further by juxtaposing them with contemporary and industrial furniture, fittings and lighting. One of the main conceptual inspirations for Clifton were the contemporised apartments of old Florence and Venice. And so by using a broadly neutral and concrete grey palette we brought in colour, texture and luxury in more subtle elements for a uniquely sophisticated, fun and elegant décor.
